Mai Nguyen and Jason Nako
Hey everybody! Thanks for visiting our website. We had a lot of fun designing it. We've tried our best to incorporate some of the history and charm of Santa Barbara into it while providing you with some information to make your travel planning a little smoother. We are looking forward to our big day and we really hope you can join us in Santa Barbara for our wedding!
The picture to the left was taken at the San Diego Wild Animal Park where we got cozy with the giraffes, ostriches and rhinos. Check out the giraffe tongue. It was on this trip that we discovered how much we enjoyed being with each other.

Jennifer Ryu
AKA: Jennifer (not Jen)
Jennifer and I have known each other for over 20 years! We first met in 8th grade and spent most of our high school and college years together.
Jennifer is the only person I know who can recall on a moment's notice things we learned in high school such as Foucault's pendulum or Freud's theories on psychoanalysis. She is a UCSF graduate and currently works as a pharmacist. But please don't ask her for any drugs--she hates that.
I have always admired her because she is a person of great integrity. As a friend, she has never failed to amaze me and now, as my Maid of Honor, she has really exceeded all of my expectations!

Michael Wiley
AKA: Poker Mike
Poker Mike and I met at a mutual friend's birthday party back in 2001. We started talking at the bar like two dudes who don't know each other talk. I liked to play basketball and he liked to smoke. He liked to read books without pictures and I liked to play online video games. You get the picture. Anyways, as soon as the word "poker" came up, that was that.
Today, you can find Poker Mike at the bar he owns with his brother, Ben. Bar Great Harry is located in Brooklyn and is the place to be if you are a true beer connoisseur. Even though Mike is on the east coast, he is still my best friend.

Lindsay Nako
AKA: Linds
Lindsay is Jason's younger and only sibling. We first met a couple of years ago when Jason and I first started dating. Lindsay is also an attorney, so from the beginning, we had a lot in common. The more I get to know Lindsay, the luckier I feel about having her as my future sister-in-law.
What I have seen from Lindsay in the past few years is a unique ability to adapt to almost any situation she is in. She is highly perceptive and extremely thoughtful. She is smart, beautiful and a pleasure to be around! I am so glad that she could be a part of my bridal party!

Catherine Nguyen
AKA: Lannie
Lannie is my younger sister and is in her freshman year at UC Irvine. She is a math whiz and is currently majoring in Biomedical Engineering. What I love about her is that although she is book smart, she is also a fashion junkie who can appreciate a stylish frock from Urban Outfitters or a designer bag by Chloe.
From the time she was born in 1990, she has brought so much joy to my life and to the rest of our family. She has made us all very proud with all of her accomplishments. She has also grown into such a beautiful young lady. She still has a tendency to whine to her big sisters now and then, but we still love her very much.

Mike Tam
AKA: Yams
Mike Tam is probably the coolest, most chill guy I know. He's always ready to lend a helping hand or blindside you with a joke when you are not expecting it.
We went to San Jose State together and both majored in Graphic Design. Through my college years, Mike spent countless hours mentoring me and helping me through the intense design program.
This pic was taken at his wedding in 2007 at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco. I was honored to be a part of his wedding and couldn't imagine him not being a part of mine.

Luke Wojewoda
AKA: Dub
"Yo, where's Dub?" That's always the first question I get whenever I show up somewhere without him. Dub is like my other half. Dub is the guy who is covered in tattoos and looks like he might rob you, but turns out to be the smartest guy in the room. We met at Yahoo and moved from the bay to L.A. at the same time. The first thing we did down south was head to the bike store and pick up these ridiculous bikes.
Dub is not only a great friend, but he is also an extremely talented website engineer. This website was built and coded by Dub and would not be possible without him. Check out Slytrunk.

Angela Nguyen
AKA: Di (pronounced "Z")
Di is my 14-year-old first cousin. She is currently a freshman at Louisville High School in Woodland Hills. Her mother is my mother's younger sister and the two of them have always been very close. In the past 14 years, there has not been a single family gathering that I can remember that Di was not present at.
Di has lots of interests, but has already developed a passion for baking and cooking. Di is a strong and spiritual person and has a bright future ahead of her. My bridal party would not be complete without her and I am so happy that she could be a part of it.

Isabella Le
AKA: Beane Beane
Beane Beane is my 5-year-old niece. As you can probably tell from her picture, she has quite a personality for her age. The black and white picture was taken during our trip to the beach. On that day, she was having a lot of fun building sand castles with Jason and splashing in the water with me.
She loves to walk on her tippy toes and can sing a mean version of Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry" song. She enjoys going to school and playing with her friends. Her favorite thing in the whole wide world right now is unicorns. Her favorite movies are "Beauty & the Beast" and "Bambi" and she enjoys watching Noggin.

Sebastian Nguyen
AKA: Sebbie
Sebbie is my 3-year-old nephew and godson. Presently, he is adjusting to life as a big brother to new baby sister, Lucia. His parents report that so far, he is handling things quite well, although he occasionally complains about Lucia's loud cries when she wakes him up from his afternoon naps.
Sebbie also has quite the imagination. He loves to pretend that he is an astronaut blasting out into space. He spends most of his time on play dates, going to the park, or at the public library. He enjoys reading, playing with his Thomas the Train set, and riding his Radio Flyer tricycle.
